At DSA you will become an industry-agnostic automation expert and experience extreme project diversity as you build integrated systems including IIOT, data acquisition, instrumentation, automated test equipment, process controls, quality controls & inspection, motion controls, vision systems, robotics, machine design & build, AI & machine learning, and real-time visualization.

DSA engineers juggle multiple projects simultaneously with project teams of varying size while delivering exceptional service to our Fortune 500 client base. You will be expected to live DSA core values of clarity, mastery, integrity, and accountability and follow our certified industry best practices.

Electrical Controls Technicians are responsible for all aspects of laboratory, product, manufacturing & test automation, including hardware and software integration including Real-time and Windows OS, National Instruments, LabVIEW, FPGA, Rockwell, PLC, HMIs, & Python development especially assembly, configuration, and testing of client systems.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute openly in a flexible work environment where behaviors are measured and results are rewarded
  • Apply multi-disciplinary skills in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls and Software Engineering
  • Work independently and on group projects in a professional office environment
  • Install automation systems at client facilities
  • Short term travel to domestic and international sites 20% – 30% annually

Qualifications

  • A.S. or B.S. in Engineering or Controls
  • 0–5 years’ experience in mechanical, electrical, controls or software engineering
  • Third-party, post degree technical credentials highly encouraged
